The Youth ministry of Judah Temple is so crucial to the growth and future of the Body of Christ. It is our desire, as we pray it is yours, to see a youth ministry that is relational and intentional as well. We strive to help our young people realize their "somebodiness", their sense of self-worth and purpose, which is tied into a deep and personal relationship with Christ.

In remembering the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37- 40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), we believe that the Youth Ministry of Judah Temple AME Zion Church exists for 5 reasons:

We exist for:

Evangelism - We are challenged to help our young people reach their friends and families with the Gospel of Christ.

Fellowship - Christianity is more than about an individual. We're about building a safe- community and family among our youth.

Worship - We also exist to teach our young people the awesomeness of intimacy with God in every aspect of life.

Discipleship - We exist to show our youth how to be and live daily like Christ.

Ministry - A true disciple is concerned with more than just themselves. We show our young people that we also exist to show God's love to others as well.

Thinking about being a youth ministry partner or leader?? We would love to have you!! We are looking for leaders and partners who love God and love young people and have a genuine desire to see our youth become whole: spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Youth Ministry is a huge time commitment and can be testing, but watching our youth develop a strong faith in God and to realize their eternal purpose in HIM is so very rewarding!
